Request for Proposals & Nominations

The Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey's Annual Conference and Membership Meeting returns Friday, October 21st! Last year's event sold out, look for early bird registration coming soon. Please note we have moved to a larger capacity location, the Crowne Plaza in Monroe. 

We invite you to submit a proposal to present at a workshop and nominate Outstanding Municipal Partners. We also are seeking nominations for our inaugural Advocacy and Organizing Award.  
 

WORKSHOP PROPOSALS 

For this year's conference, we are planning the following workshop tracks:

  • Neighborhood Revitalization & Community Stabilization
  • Nonprofit Management
  • Housing Counseling
  • Affordable Housing Policy
  • Healthy Homes/Healthy Communities

OUTSTANDING MUNICIPAL PARTNERS  

For the Outstanding Municipal Partners award, we are honoring municipalities in the categories of:

  • New Development, for creating new affordable homes within their communities
  • Neighborhood Revitalization, for revitalizing their communities and rehabbing affordable homes
  • Healthy Homes and Communities, for effectively addressing widespread issues that impact the health of neighborhoods and residents

ADVOCACY & ORGANIZING 

This new award recognizes outstanding achievement in a local advocacy and/or organizing campaign by Network member that furthers the Network's mission: supporting the creation of affordable homes, economic opportunities, and strong communities. Organizations are welcome to self nominate.
