The Program Administration Office (PAO) within the Office of Multifamily Housing at HUD is seeking a new Senior Policy Advisor (Advisor). PAO acts as the policy office for Multifamily Housing and the front office for the Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Multifamily Housing. The Advisor will lead the Department's policy efforts and advise the DAS and senior leadership on Rental Housing Preservation, including Section 8, 811, 202 and other forms of rental assistance. The Advisor will work closely with Office Directors and program office staff as well as colleagues within PAO. Responsibilities and skills include researching, developing and championing rental housing policy proposals; liaising with Congressional staff on the Department's rental assistance budget; leading intra-agency teams on Rental Housing policies including RAD; and representing the Department with stakeholders on topics related to rental housing.
