State Cites Building, Federal Government Says It Passes Their Inspection

The Asbury Park Press/ investigation "Renter Hell" identified the grim living conditions at the 500-unit Garden Spires Apartments in Newark.  The latest twist in the story came in August when Garden Spires passed its most recent HUD inspection, even though many of the problems the state found there still persist.  Read the update and see what you think.
